All RIKTA seismic bracing product ranges have been specifically designed for the bracing of non-structural building components in accordance with building codes and national standards including AS1170.4 and NZS4219.

Rikta’s seismic products have been tested in accordance with ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 171-2017. Method of testing for Rating Seismic and Wind Restraints. Max axial loads are presented as LRFD ratings.

No Reliance on Strut Nuts

Traditional methods of rigid bracing rely on the correct installation of strut nuts which are a key point of failure under earthquake conditions. RIKTA rigid bracing products utilise self-tapping screws for a positive fix to a range of common steel materials. This removes any requirement for strut nuts in the system.

Fast and Consistent Installation Process

Efficient bracket design, maximising anchor efficiency, means a faster, more cost-effective installation process. RIKTA rigid bracing products utilise self-tapping screws for an obvious, positive fix, significantly increases the speed of installation and inspection.

Adaptability and Adjustment

Whether using SHS, strut, or pipe, RIKTA products provide rated bracing solutions using low cost, readily available steel materials. Multiple self-drilling screws allow the brackets to pivot so that adjustments can be made during installation allowing flexibility to avoid other services and hangers, and ensuring clearance requirements are met.

High Capacity Load Ratings

RIKTA brackets incorporate innovative design features for optimal performance and load ratings. The low-pry brackets apply force through the centre of the anchor to maximise anchor efficiency.
